Rusted a Vintage Market

Burlap Nest

My name is Jennifer Weaver, owner of The Burlap Nest. Born and raised in Jacksonville, I’m proud to call myself a true, lifelong native.

Jennifer
I’ve been happily married for 19 years and, together, my husband and I have 3 beautiful children.¬†When our youngest went off to preschool 4 years ago, I decided to jump in with both feet and start my own business. I haven’t slowed down ever since and I’ve loved every minute of it.

As a child I was always doing crafts, DIY projects and making all sorts of “things.” On a regular basis you could find me in the woods behind our house pulling down grapevine from trees and making wreaths. That passion for making and creating still lies within me today and I can honestly say I love my job.

I stumbled across Rusted: A Vintage Market while out shopping 4 years ago and would never have thought in my wildest imagination would I become part of the Rusted family. It’s truly a dream come true for me! I’ve been a vendor in the shop for over 2 years now and I still consider it an honor.

I paint furniture, hunt for vintage treasures, make growth charts, wreaths, signs, paint custom kitchen cabinets and much more. One of my favorite parts of being at Rusted is teaching my children an appreciation for history through the tangible vintage items we carry at the store.

I never take for granted the shoppers we have that support what we do, and I look forward to continuing to make, create and collect beautiful things for years and years to come.

I have found/created these beauties for you, click <HERE>.
